Grading
Quarterly grades are based on a point system with the following components:
- Homework= 2-5 points per assignment; opportunity to correct for full credit
- Classwork = 5-10 points per assignment; opportunity to correct for full credit
- Quizzes = 40-50 points
- Unit Tests* = 100 points
*No re-dos on summative assessments
- First semester grade (S1) is the average of Q1 and Q2
- Second semester grade (S2) is the average of Q3 and Q4
- Final exam = 10% of final (Y1) grade
- 45% S1 grade + 45% S2 grade + 10% final exam grade = year end (Y1) grade
