School Social Worker, Grades 6 - 12
Hello! I am the social worker for grades 6-12 and I am here to help support the students, staff, and families of WMS and WHS. As the school social worker, I meet with students individually or in groups based on the needs of the students, in addition to providing crisis management services as a member of the Crisis Team. I collaborate with student's families, school staff, and connect families with outside community resources that would be beneficial to the student's and/or parent's well-being. I provide a safe space for students to express themselves to support their social, emotional, and behavioral needs so they can perform to their highest academic abilities. I am a part of the Attendance Committee (WMS/WHS), Student Assistance Team (WHS), and one of the Section 504 case managers (WMS/WHS). I am also the Advisor for the Peer Counseling club and the SADD (students against destructive decisions) chapter at WHS.
Please feel free to contact me at any time.
