School Counselor Grades 5 - 8
My primary role as your child's School Counselor is to prepare them for the academic, career, and social/emotional world. I provide support services to students via individual counseling, peer mediation, and parent and teacher consultation. I serve as the Section 504 Case Manager for all students who qualify for accommodations via a Section 504 Plan, teach Developmental Guidance Lessons across all grade levels, and oversee the implementation of Student Success Plans for students in grades 6-8. Additionally, I am responsible for enrollments and transfers to/from the district, and the application process for vocational and private schools. School Psychologist Grades 5 - 8.
I provide comprehensive psychological services to all students, regular and special education. These services include individual and group counseling, social skills, cognitive assessment, social/emotional assessment, Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Plans, and teacher and parent consultation. Additionally, I serve as the Co-Chair of the Safe School Climate Committee. Corey Ehrlich, MSW
School Social Worker Grades k-12
I am the social worker for all three schools in the district, and have the opportunity to work with students, staff, and families throughout Westbrook. My role includes meeting with students individually and in groups within the schools, teaming with teachers to facilitate social/emotional lessons in the classroom, collaborating with parents and families, and identifying resources for students and families in the community.
I look forward to working with our students and families each day to help students achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally in order to create a safe and healthy learning environment.
